Scott got his first taste of music performing at seven years old when he learned to play a guitar and sang in choir. At age 13 his parents gave him a drum set. From there on Scott has been in numerous bands ranging from punk, metal, new wave, blues, classic rock, reggae & jam bands. Since the beginning, he has always been booking and performing.
Scott graduated College in 1999 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a B.S. in Recreation Administration and an A.A. in General Education. While attending college, he hosted and performed in many venues, triathlons, school functions, bars, warehouse and house parties. He was also the Activities Officer of a 500+ member Wakeboard Club where he would book, host, promote and perform at huge events on lakes with boats, bands, and DJ’s.
After college, Scott worked in the surf/skate/snow/wake industry in sales, production and special events, as well as continued to perform live music.
In 2008, Scott created ON POINT PROMOTIONS, and has since been booking and performing full time at many venues in the San Diego & Orange County areas including: Belly Up Tavern, Winston's, Winston’s, 710 Beach Club, Mr. Peabody's Encinitas, Aztec Brewery, Fox Sports News San Diego and more; as well as corporate, wedding, benefit, on campus and other events.
Over these past six years, Scott has made contacts with many bands and venues by being an agent as well as a performer. He has earned a sterling reputation as a fair, honest, organized, and a legitimate booking agent, and is respected by many colleagues in both the music and action sports industries.
